Our winemaker describes Red Rock Terrace as "having velvety tannins, rich and well balanced, medium dark ruby color with cherry, mint and black currant flavors."
Wine Spectator Smooth, rich and complex, with a concentrated core of earthy currant, black cherry, herb and toasty oak. Plush textured at first but then the tannins flex their muscles, suggesting a need for cellaring. Long finish. Best from 2004 through 2014.
